In the eve of June 22nd, at Shopping Center Outlet Mall – Binh Duong Province.

80 contestants to Miss Universe 2008 performed traditional costumes. Results said 10 Misses were selected the most wonderful traditional costumes models such as :

• Marianne Cruz (Dominica Republic),
  
• Simran Kaur Mundi (India), Zana Krasniqi (Kosova),
  
• Elisa Najera (Mexico),

• Dayana Mendoza (Venezuela)
  
• and Thuy Lam (Vietnam).

In the eve of June 24th, beautiful women joined a pageant with Vietnam traditional Ao Dai dress and the top prize went to Miss Venezuela.

Charming Ao Dai Dress program (in the Miss Universe 2008 framework) is run by Youth Film – Vietnamese Youth Newspaper with aim to raise Nguyen Thai Binh Scholarship Fund for poor students and pupils overcoming difficulties.
Jury members included Mr. Nguyen Cong Khe – Editor-in-Chief of Vietnamese Youth Newspaper, Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori, Mr. Hoang Dai Thanh – Editor-in-Chief of Young Fashions Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Van - Director of Thanh Van Aesthetics Hospital and Den Hung Temple Miss Giang My.

During the show, 80 prettiest women performed the most wonderful Ao Dai dresses of designers such as

• Lien Huong,
  
• Thuan Viet,
  
• Sy Hoang
  
• and Vo Viet Chung.
  

Top 5 Ao Dai dress was :

1. Miss Venezuela,
   
2. Miss India,
   
3. Miss Vietnam,
   
4. Miss Thailand
   
5. Miss Kazakhstan.
   

Finally, the most wonderful prize went to Miss Venezuela Dayana.
